Holly has grown up in the natural products industry and carved out her own career in business and events management, before following in the footsteps of her mother and Viridian Nutrition Founder and Co-owner Cheryl Thallon into the ethical vitamin company.

Achieving a First Class Honours Degree in Business and Events Management, from Leeds Beckett University, Holly worked in the events sector, joining the family business in 2021. Prior to this, from a young age Holly had accumulated a vast amount of experience attending trade show and events, visiting health food stores and travelling overseas as Viridian expanded further into, Africa, India and Europe.

Like mother, like daughter, Holly has a passion for experiential retail and community engagement, finding ways to further engage the wider public in specialist health solutions. This is grounded by her experience of working in the family health store, Sheaf Street Health Store, in her hometown of Daventry, Northamptonshire, enabling her to understand the challenges and opportunities of the marketplace.

With her hands-on approach to retail and technology, and enthusiasm for the specialist natural products sector, Holly is making her own mark at Viridian. She regularly gives presentations and industry insights into good practice to support and enhance specialist health retail offering.

Holly’s values and beliefs are firmly rooted in sustainable, environmentally friendly and ethical health solutions, which form the Viridian mission. Her fresh approach enables her to connect with the current wave of ethically conscious shoppers.

On the company’s 25th anniversary, Holly stepped into role of second generation managing director, continuing the Viridian mission of nourishing health and happiness in the kindest way.

Holly says: “There really is nothing more important than health, and to work in a business that is genuinely having an impact is a privilege.”
