Lizzy Rudd as Chair of Berry Bros & Rudd since 2017, has been central in evolving the long-term purpose of the business on behalf of the Rudd and Berry families, “to connect people to nature and one another through a deep appreciation of fine wine and spirits”, which guides the strategy of the business.
She is an advocate of business as a force for good whereby “people and planet” must be considered a partner to profit. To this end Berry Bros & Rudd become B Corp certified in 2025. Examples of initiatives include supporting regenerative viticulture with soil health and nature as fundamental to the future of our planet, creating a clear plan to achieve net zero carbon emissions, and philanthropic and charity initiatives that support communities.
When back home in Norfolk and well away from the wine and spirits industry, Lizzy has a particular interest in plant medicine and nature.
