Why FBUK Communities Matter
Family businesses thrive when they learn from each other. Our FBUK Communities are private, curated peer groups that bring together members with shared roles, responsibilities, and interests. They are safe spaces to share experiences, exchange advice, and co-create practical solutions to challenges faced by family businesses today.
Through these groups, members gain:
- Peer insight & support – access to trusted advice from those who have shared experiences.
- Exclusive access – to curated events, thought leadership, and external expertise.
- Long-term value – a network that grows with your family and your business.
- Community led working sessions and outputs
Our Communities
We currently have six active communities, each at a different stage of maturity.
Chairs – a trusted forum for those leading boards of family businesses, and overseeing generational change.
NextGen – an energetic network of future leaders exploring succession, innovation, and new approaches to leadership for the next generation.
NowGen –executive level family directors responsible for leading the family business on a day-to-day basis
Family Council – governance leaders from their families navigating family dynamics and exchanging models, charters, and family constitutions.
Non-Family Executives – senior non-family executive leaders navigating day-to-day business leadership in a family business context and environment.
Policy – supporting FBUK’s advocacy and policy on issues that affect family businesses nationally.
