Alexander Bradford chairs the Family Council for The Bradford’s Group, an 11th generation family owned builders merchant with over fifty locations throughout the South of England and the Midlands.
For his day job he is Global Business Development & Sustainability Director at Gander & White Shipping, a fine art logistics business with facilities in London, Paris and five further in cities across the USA. He chairs the marketing committee of ICEFAT, a trade association comprising just under 80 fine art agents from across the globe.
He studied International Relations & History of Art at the University of St Andrews in Scotland and sits on the board of PAIAM (Professional Advisers to the International Art Market. Previously he has served on the young patrons committee at The Royal Academy of Arts and the philanthropy board of Art UK.
Outside of work he is an avid tennis player and watcher as well as regular theatre goer. Weekends are usually spent walking his lurcher Fortesque.
