Join us at a private dinner hosted by S&W, Boodle Hatfield, J.P. Morgan and Family Business UK.
Following the Autumn Budget, we are bringing together a small group of family business owners for a private dinner and an open conversation about planning for the future in an increasingly uncertain environment.
Families invest significant time, energy and resources in putting long-term plans in place. Yet the tax, political and economic landscape can change considerably before those plans come to fruition. The challenge is not simply responding to the latest changes to inheritance tax, but considering how to make confident, thoughtful decisions across generations when the rules themselves may continue to evolve.
Over dinner, we will explore how families can plan with greater flexibility, without putting important decisions permanently on hold or having to rethink their approach every time circumstances change. The conversation will look at the current inheritance tax landscape and the wider considerations shaping long-term decisions, alongside the family dynamics, governance and conversations that help make those plans work in practice.
The evening will combine expert perspectives with the experiences of family business owners around the table, creating space for open discussion, shared learning and practical insights. It will also be an opportunity to connect with other families navigating many of the same questions.
Open to FBUK Members only.
