Robertsbridge, East Sussex

About

For 151 years, Gray‑Nicolls has been crafting cricket bats in the village of Robertsbridge. This special family‑business visit invites you to step inside their world and see how a craft passed down through generations continues to shape one of cricket’s most iconic brands.

You will see the complete process from the planting of the willow tree to the despatching of finished cricket bats. Gray‑Nicolls is one of the very few companies that still manufactures and processes English willow bats right here in the UK, making this experience truly one of a kind.

Join us to discover how their famous bats are made, meet the family behind the tradition, and hear the story that has kept this remarkable craft alive for over a century.
