Sarah is Chair of her family business, Westmorland Limited, which runs motorway service areas in Cumbria, Scotland, Gloucestershire and soon, Cheshire. The business, which originally grew out of their hill farm in 1972, is known for its lack of franchises, its farm shops, home made food and its connections with local farmers, producers and community. A 2nd generation business, Sarah has been part of the business for over 25 years while her sister Jane oversees their farm in Cumbria.
