Julie White is an innovator within the construction industry pushing for efficiency, training, and safety through technology. She is the owner and MD of D-Drill & Sawing having completed a management buy-out in 2008. Julie has worked through recessions and Covid to lead a company that has diversified and grown, with branches across the UK offering diamond drilling, concrete sawing, controlled demolition, 2D and 3D scanning, and pull-testing.
Julie has been highly visible within the specialist Diamond Drilling sector and has had proactive roles on the boards of The Diamond Drilling and Sawing Association (DSA), the Construction Industry Training Boards (CITB), the International Association of Concrete Drillers and Sawers, the Prime Minister’s Business Council and Build UK.
As a ground breaker in the industry, Julie was the first woman to be appointed the World President of the International Association of Concrete Drillers and Sawers (IACDS). She is also the first woman to Chair the boards of the DSA and is the current Chair of Build UK.
