FBUK is delighted to launch its new Future Leaders Programme, beginning in March 2026.

Developed in partnership with Alembic Strategy, and generously sponsored by Thomas Martin and family – with five generations of business experience – the programme will help new and future leaders step forward with confidence.

Running from March to September, the programme is designed specifically for individuals who hold a leadership role or are preparing to lead the family and business. Together we will explore the critical questions that matter most:

  • What’s my personal connection to this business?
  • How do I honour the legacy while shaping a bold future?
  • What’s the impact I want to have?
  • How can I consistently perform at my best?
  • How can I apply appropriate leadership styles, and not cast unintentional shadows over others?
  • What emerging challenges should I anticipate, and prepare to lead through them?
  • What does skilful chairing, facilitating and leading meetings actually look like?
  • How can I perform under pressure, and have the psychological flexibility to adapt in the moment?

A blended approach to leadership development

The programme combines a range of carefully curated learning experiences, each designed to support growth from every angles:

  • In-person group sessions – to explore challenges and share perspectives in a confidential, energizing space
  • Online workshops – that introduce powerful tools and allow for reflection and connection between in-person sessions
  • Peer-to-peer support – creating mutual support, accountability, and community.
  • One-on-one coaching sessions – giving you personalized attention and tailored development
  • 24-hour residential retreat – designed for deeper exploration, rest, and reconnection
  • Curated resources – short videos, relevant readings, and talks from guest speakers to inspire and challenge
  • Sponsor interviews – to help you understand your impact and create clarity in relation to both current and future roles in your business
  • Participation in the FBUK Conference in London, June 4-5th – with a bespoke session created for this cohort

On completion delegates will graduate with:

  • a practical toolkit of frameworks, language, and insights that help you navigate uncertainty and complexity with confidence
  • Greater confidence in their leadership voice and style
  • An expanded peer network within the FBUK community to provide ongoing support on your journey through the family business.
